How do I return an item?
Damaged Products: TVs
We make every effort to prevent shipping damages. Upon delivery, you must inspect and test the merchandise for damage or defects. If your package appears damaged upon receipt, simply REFUSE the shipment. Once you sign for the delivery, you can no longer make any damage claims. If you should place an order with iElectrica and then refuse a package for any reason other than damage to the merchandise in the box, please know that you will receive a refund for the amount of your original transaction less any shipping charges iElectrica incurred in getting the package to you originally, as well as the cost of the return shipping, plus a 15% restocking fee. The box and packaging material inside the box are designed to protect your product. They are designed to absorb the impact of shipping. Just because there are visible signs of damage to the box does not mean that your product inside is damaged. You must remove the box and inspect the contents inside! If there is any damage to your product, you must refuse the delivery- do not sign for it, and note the damage on the delivery form. You must do this in order for us to file a claim on your behalf and ship you another unit. If you accept the package(s) damaged, it will be extremely difficult to have the shipping company cover the product under their insurance policy. **Please note** You must retain all manufacturer packaging until such a time as you are satisfied that the items delivered are in complete working condition, and there is no damage to them. Manufacturer packaging is a MUST regarding claims of damaged merchandise. If you do not retain the packaging, there is no way to file a claim. The result of that is we are unable to send a replacement, nor will we be able to refund the cost of the item. Defective Products: TVs For the convenience of our valued customers we offer an easy to follow return policy for defective items. Eligible defective products may be returned for an exchange within 7 days from the date your product was delivered. Defective products will be exchanged for the same model only. Defective products must be returned with the original box and packaging and with all included materials including, but not limited to, warranty cards, manuals, and accessories. The UPC label must be intact. We reserve the right to charge for all missing materials. The 7 day defective exchange policy does not apply to TVs 37" and larger, any oversized product(s) shipped via our motor freight company (not UPS/FedEx), appliances or receivers. If any of these items are deemed defective, they will be covered exclusively by the manufacturers’ warranties, and you must contact the manufacturer for any repairs. If you need assistance with arranging service, please call us at 954-900-1038. Note: Defective TVs 37" and larger will be serviced by a manufacturer authorized service provider who will be chosen at the sole discretion of the manufacturer. Defective TVs 37” and larger that can not be repaired will be replaced by their manufacturers. To process a defective return/exchange of a TV (only TVs smaller than 37") you must contact Customer Service at 954-900-1038. All returns/exchanges require a Return Authorization Number (RA#). This will be provided by Customer Service. All Returns/Exchanges must be double boxed (manufacturers box must be inside of another box designed for shipping), with the RA # written clearly on the outer box accompanied by a note, explaining what is wrong with the item, in the original merchandise box. Cancellations **Please note** Once an order is billed, iElectrica reserves the right to charge a processing fee that varies depending on the type of card used (if cancelled). For Visa/Mastercard/Discover, there is a 2.5% processing fee. For American Express there is a 3.5% processing fee. Those amounts will be deducted from your refund. If you wish to cancel your order and you have not yet received your delivery, you may do so after obtaining a Return Authorization Number. To obtain a Return Authorization Number, you must contact Customer Service at 954-900-1038. Returns without RA#s will not be accepted. You will be credited the full amount of the original transaction, less all shipping & handling charges to and from the customer's delivery address. An additional 15% restocking fee will apply. Return Policy for Non-Defective Cameras, Camcorders, and Accesories (including Television accessories) Within 7 days of confirmed recipient of delivery from the chosen shipping carrier, you may return any unopened or unused products in its original packaging for a refund less a 25% restocking fee and shipping fees incurred during shipment. Any order which is refused upon delivery or recalled is subject to a 25% restocking fee, as well as paying for the shipping costs both ways, and any intercept fees (if applicable) which we incur from our shipping carrier. In order to begin the return process, please contact our customer service department to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA). You can do so by calling 954-900-1038 and selecting the appropriate option for customer service. Keep in mind that the return policy for cameras, camcorders, and respectable accessories are 7 days from the confirmed recipient of shipment from our shipping carrier. An RMA number will not be issued to any order older than 7 days from the confirmed recipient of shipment from our shipping carrier. Orders will not be accepted as a return nor will they be refunded without obtaining an RMA number initially. If the order is returned to us without obtaining an RMA number, the item will be shipped back to the customer, at the customers own expense. You must ensure that merchandise is returned to the address provided with your RMA number to receive proper credit. The RMA number is to be marked on the outside of the shipping box, specifically on the shipping label, for product returns. Please do not write the RMA number on the manufacturer's product box. If you do write the RMA number on the manufacturer's box, the item will be shipped back to the customer, at the customers own expense. Return shipping on merchandise being returned to iElectrica .com is to be prepaid by the customer. iElectrica does not pay for the return shipping of returned items. Please follow these instructions to return your purchase by mail: 1) Pack your return in the original shipping package, if possible. 2) Be sure to write your RMA number on the outside of the box, specifically on the shipping label. 3) Include a note inside the package with your order number and the reason for return. 4) Include all original packing materials, manuals, and accessories. 5) Follow your RMA email as to where the package will be shipped to. A refund will be issued only to the original credit card which the charge was made. Return Policy for Defective Cameras, Camcorders, and Respectable Accessories Defective merchandise due to a manufacturer defect can be returned and will be credited in full at original invoice price after receipt and inspection of damage at our warehouse (This does not apply to digital SLR cameras or SLR Lenses. If defective, those MUST be serviced by the manufacturer). If preferred, you may choose to contact the manufacturer directly and have your product repaired or replaced by the manufacturers authorized service centers that may be located locally, utilizing the manufacturer's original product warranty. If the merchandise was claimed to be damaged, and was proven not to be damaged by our inspection manager or through the manufacture themselves, the item will be shipped back to the customer, at the customers own expense. Additionally, the cost of the return label will be charged to our customer. Non-Returnable Items Non-Returnable items include the following: Televisions (37" & larger), any product(s) shipped via our motor freight company, appliances (including Microwaves & Air conditioners) , receivers, SLR cameras, home theater & audio equipment. Any returns which display signs of 'customer imposed damage' are non returnable. If returned, the item will be immediately photographed for company evidence and rejected as a return. The item will then be shipped back to the customer, at the customers own expense. If applicable, the manager may decide on a restocking fee and re-sell the item in its current condition. Other non-returnable items include but are not limited to manufacturer boxed items (such as cameras and camcorders) which are missing accessories, such as remote controls, cords, and / or cables. If standard manufacturer accessories are missing from the returned camera box, the item will then be shipped back to the customer, at the customers own expense. Additionally, extended warranties which are purchased are strictly non-returnable nor are they refundable. Return Policy for Extended Warranties Extended warranties which are purchased are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable due to the fact that each warranty is preregistered with the product serial number of the item purchased. Once you purchase the warranties and they are preregistered, they are not cancellable/returnable under ANY circumstances. Special Ordered Products There are NO refunds on Special Ordered Products. There are no returns or exchanges on registered warranty or performance plans. Free shipping If your order was shipped for free or at a promotional shipping rate, you will incur the actual "to and from" UPS/Freight charges upon returning merchandise. Refused and Undeliverable Packages In the event that you refuse your package, you will be subject to paying the full shipping price of the product both ways, plus a 15% restocking fee. If you ordered an item that has Free shipping you will be charged the full shipping amount. In addition, if your package is undeliverable due to incorrect information provided by you the purchaser or any other reason that is not the fault of iElectrica, the purchaser is responsible for payment of the full shipping amount. Restocking Fees All returns will be subject to a 15% restocking fee for all non-defective opened merchandise. If the return does not include all original parts, accessories, is missing the UPC label, or is not double boxed, we reserve the right to charge an additional fee for the missing materials. Additionally, if your UPC label is missing we reserve the right to charge for the Rebate Offer amount. |
